Chuck E. Cheese chooses NPC

National Processing Co. said Thursday it has signed a multi-year agreement with CEC Entertainment Inc. to provide credit card processing services for Chuck E. Cheese restaurants nationwide.

Under the agreement, Louisville, Ky.-based NPC will provide authorization and settlement services for all credit and debit card transactions at company-owned stores.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Chuck E. Cheese operates 416 restaurants in 46 states. Of those, 367 are owned and operated by the company.

NPC is majority owned by National City Corp., the Dayton region's third-largest financial institution with 43 National City Banks and almost $1.4 billion in deposits locally.
