Dayton Business Journal
A number of restaurants nationwide are joining an effort this week to support the families of victims who provided food service in the World Trade Center complex.
On Thursday, participating restaurants will donate a portion of their sales that day to the Windows of Hope Family Relief Fund.
Among local restaurants participating are Cafe Anticoli in Clayton, Flavors Eatery in Englewood, L'Auberge in Kettering, Cobblestone Cafe in Waynesville, and China Garden, Perkins and La Piazza in Troy.

Also that day, the Dine America program aims to raise hundreds of thousands dollars nationwide for American Red Cross relief efforts stemming for the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Participating restaurants also will donate a portion of the day's receipts to the Red Cross. So far, an estimated 5,000 restaurants have agreed to participate, including at least 18 in the Greater Dayton area.
