Thor establishes stock high

Thor Industries today set a new 52-week high on the New York Stock Exchange, apparently on no news.

The Jackson Center-based manufacturer at one point traded at $35.75, bestings its previous high by two cents.

Thor stock finished trading at $35.35, an 85-cent spike from Tuesday's close.

Volume was 34,200 trades, higher than the company's average volume of more than 20,500 trades.

Thor's 52-week low is $19.06.

The company, http://www.thorindustries.com, manufactures RV and buses at eight facilities in the United States. The company reported earnings of $2.98 per share for fiscal 2000.
